Childbirth Classes
We offer support groups and classes to help prepare you for every stage of childbirth, including childbirth preparation, breastfeeding, and classes for siblings.

Obstetric Anesthesia
The Obstetrical Pain Management Program helps expectant mothers feel more comfortable during the childbirth experience.

Breast Pump Rental & Sales
To provide more comprehensive breastfeeding services, NYU Medical Center has a Breast Pump Sales and Rental Station that offers a full line of pumps and instruction by lactation consultants.

In-Vitro Fertilization
If you are trying to have a baby, the NYU Fertility Center treats both male and female infertility. They offer a full range of services, including in vitro fertilization, an onsite Donor Egg Program and an onsite Egg Freezing Program.

Maternal-Fetal Therapy
NYU Langone Medical Center’s Maternal-Fetal Medicine Program specializes in fetal diagnosis, treatment, and fetal surgery.

Maternal Well-Being
The NYU Reproductive Psychiatry Program in the NYU Behavioral Health Faculty Practice provides evaluation and treatment for women with pregnancy-related and postpartum psychiatric disorders.

Neonatal Intensive Care Unit
NYU Langone Medical Center’s Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) is a service for newborn babies who are born premature or who need special medical and/or surgical care at birth.

Patient Advocates
The Patient Advocates Office is the hospital contact for you if you have questions about the services available, hospital policies, or rights as a patient.

Prenatal/Postpartum Physical Therapy
Women with pain or discomfort related to pregnancy, delivery, and/or postnatal baby care can obtain a referral from their doctor and receive one-on-one treatment with a physical therapist specializing in prenatal/postpartum therapy.

Social Services
The Social Work Department provides discharge planning and counseling for patients coping with the impact of parenthood as well as pre-term labor and premature babies.

Ultrasound & Diagnostics
The diagnostic center helps identify potential obstetrical, medical or fetal problems at an early enough point in the pregnancy to maximize the likelihood of a healthy child.
