This two-and-a-half hour class for expectant mothers (coaches are welcome to attend) is taught by a lactation consultant.  It is designed to discuss the benefits of breastfeeding as well as provide practical information on breastfeeding.  Proper breastfeeding techniques are also discussed.

Cost: $40 if taking NYU Langone Medical Center Childbirth course; $80 if NOT taking NYU Langone Medical Center course.

Breastfeeding Mothers Group

The weekly breastfeeding group for new mothers offers encouragement and feedback on breastfeeding your newborn. You will have the opportunity to breastfeed your baby with guidance from a lactation consultant while meeting new mothers. The Breastfeeding Mothers Group meets every Wednesday, 12:00 (Noon) - 1:30pm at 660 First Avenue – 4th floor Conference Room.

Cost: $150 for six months of group meetings.
